Isomass Service Team

Isomass Scientific Inc. has built its reputation by providing quality service to mass spectrometer users in Canada since 1981. That commitment to customer service continues today.

All members of our Service Team are manufacturer trained and certified for the instruments they support.

Peter Stow – joined Isomass in July of 1994 to take over the service side of the business. Peter has over 25 years of international field service experience on V.G. and Thermo Fisher instruments. With his exceptional technical expertise, proven trouble-shooting abilities, and extensive experience, Peter is the cornerstone of the Isomass field service team.

Feroz Alam – joined Isomass in 2001, bringing with him 15 years of international field service experience on a wide range of Perkin Elmer analytical instruments, including ICP-mass spectrometers. His technical expertise and analytical ability is an important asset to the Isomass service team. Feroz is multi-lingual (English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi).

Hugo Cornejo – joined Isomass in 2004, bringing with him more than 4 years of IRMS and ICP-MS experience as a field service engineer for the exclusive Thermo Fisher agent in Mexico. Hugo also spent 11 years as a field service engineer in the hydro industry before making the transition to Thermo Fisher instruments. His instrument knowledge and broad technical expertise has made Hugo a valuable member of the Isomass service team. Hugo is bilingual (English and Spanish).

Timothy Oare - joined Isomass in 2006, bringing with him a chemical technology education with solid applications experience gained working in a biochemistry lab using Mass Spectrometry to characterize protein and peptides in Alberta. Tim also worked in a lab in New Zealand and Australia specializing in LC systems.  His technical abilities coupled with his applications experience are a great addition to the Isomass service team.

René Laan - joined the Isomass service team in 2008.  René is an experienced mass spec service engineer who came to us from Applied Biosystems where he worked on Perkin-Elmer Infra-red spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, ion trap mass specs, Sciex triple quad LC-MS and PerSeptive Biosystems MALDI-TOF mass spectrometers. His considerable experience is a welcome addition to the Isomass service team. René is trilingual (English, French and Dutch).

Jorge-Adrian Olivares – joined the Isomass service team in 2009. He comes to us with a science and chemical engineering education, as well as 10 years of scientific research experience as the New Technologies and Service Manager at COMEX. He also brings with him experience providing technical service in remote areas of Mexico, Central America, and U.S.A. Jorge- Adrian is trilingual (English, French, Spanish).

Phone and E-mail Support

With the rapid expansion of instrument sales in recent years, new operators are often inexperienced and require ongoing technical support. That support is available to Isomass customers by telephone (toll free) and email for the life of the instrument(s).
