NEW WAVE LASER ABLATION SYSTEMS

Isomass Scientific’s product line includes laser ablation, laser fusing, and micro-milling products designed to complement the high sensitivity of modern analytical techniques. The sample positioning for all of the systems is controlled by the same, powerful software which allows for pin point accuracy.

MIR-10

Fusing IR laser for noble gas and isotope ratio mass spectrometry.

UP-266 MACRO

Ablation UV laser for ICP-OES and ICP-MS capable of creating laser spots of greater than 1100µm with the VERI™ (Vernier Extended Range Increments) option.

UP-213 - Ablation UV laser for ICP-MS

For precision depth profiling with spot sizes down to 5µm. An excellent tool for the analysis of fluid inclusions.

UP-193SS - Solid State laser ablation laser

Comparable to a 193 Excimer laser without the requirement for a reactive gas. Spot sizes down to 2µm.

UP-XP - A femto second laser beam delivery system.

This interface takes the user supplied femto second laser and adds to New Wave’s sample stage, beam delivery, sample viewing and software. Femto second lasers have applications in ICP-MS, IR-MS, NGMS and LIBS.

SuperCell

The SuperCell has been designed to enable rapid evacuation of the laser generated aerosol leading to a more intense, shorter peak per laser pulse. The SuperCell is mounted in place of the standard cell and can be fitted in less than 5 minutes. It is compatible with all UP (Universal Platform) lasers.

MicroMill

For micro sampling New Wave offers the MicroMill. The MicroMill offers the sub micron stage resolution, positional accuracy and real-time video observation of the laser software combined with a high torque, variable speed, DC milling chuck.
