Isomass Scientific Inc. was founded in 1981. We are a full-service company that provides world-class analytical instruments and after sales support to the scientific community in Canada.

Instruments

As the Canadian Agent for Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are able to provide inorganic and organic mass spectrometer solutions for your analytical requirements. Our instrument portfolio also includes Costech Elemental Analyzers, New Wave Laser Ablation Systems, and Wagner IRIS ¹³CO₂ Breath Test Analyzers.

Service

We have built our reputation on the quality of service that we offer our customers. All members of our service team are experienced and factory trained to handle installations and provide after sales support. We are committed to providing quality service to ensure that users get the most from their instruments.

Training

Operators receive basic training as part of the instrument installation process. Additional training is available through regularly scheduled training courses as itemized below.

For DELTA series and MAT 253 series instruments and accessories, Isomass has partnered with the University of Ottawa to offer regularly scheduled IRMS Operator Training Courses at the G. G. Hatch Laboratories. These courses will familiarize users with instrument operations, regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostic practices. See the Training page for more information.

For the ELEMENT 2/XR/GD, TRITON, NEPTUNE, Noble Gas or DFS mass spectrometers, operator training courses are regularly scheduled and available in Bremen, Germany where the instruments are manufactured.

On-site training is optionally available, upon request, but should be limited to no more than three instrument operators. Please contact us for course availability and tuition costs.

Parts and Consumables

At the Isomass head office in Calgary we warehouse a large selection of spares, parts and consumables in order to provide customers with a timely supply of the items they require to run their instruments on a day-to-day basis. We also carry parts and consumables from Elemental Microanalysis for elemental analyzers and from Scientific Instrument Services for general mass spectrometer parts.
